My wife son and I took a few days in a very cold New York just before Christmas. We flew to and from New York Newark airport which necessitated a rail transfer to Penn station.

1. Grand Central-16.12.16 Our first day in New York found us at Grand Central station for lunch! What a huge station and all totally subterranean. I managed to get on to some platforms but taking pictures was tricky due to the relative darkness.

2. Manhatton Harbour tour-17.12.16 The tour of Manhattan harbour was absolutely bitter, I managed one railway related photograph before darting back inside the boat again!
