A nice spring day during which I went out three times to see a Wolverton EMU drag and 60103 'Flying Scotsman' running light engine.

A morning trip to the site of Roade station to see Rail Operation Group class 47 heading for Wolverton Works in order to collect a Norther refurbished class 319. |

The second trip out to see the Rail Operations Group class 47 towing a refurbished class 319 EMU back to its new home at Northern Trains. |

An evening trip to Roade Cutting to see the newly restored Flying Scotsman running light engine to Southall. I chose a spot that was a fair walk off the beaten track even sacrificing the sun for shade. But, even so, there were still about 10 people at this remote spot to take in the spectacle! |
