A very busy day packed with railway activity. Firstly, there were some interesting local footexes both in the morning and then returning in the evening in association with the 2012/2013 League 2 playoff final at Wembley. In between these, there was an open afternoon at the just-closed Bletchley PSB that Andy and I could not resist!

1. Footexes & 1Z77-AM A dull and grey April morning (where has the sun gone this spring?) got me out across the field from home to capture The Golden Arrow Statesman charter and an unusual local footex.

2. Bletchley PSB visit-PM With Bletchley PSB having closed on 31.12.12 an open day was planned with all funds raised going to charity. Unfortunately, the open day was put back several times for 'operational reasons' but finally, some five months later it took place. After picking Andy up we made our way south to investigate more.

3. Footexes-PM Having already seen the two outward footexes earlier in the day heading out and back from Northampton conveying Coblers' supporters to Wembley for the League Two playoff final I want out again to see the evening return workings. unfortunately, the fans were not to come back happy with the team losing to Bradford City 3-0.
