Our usual pre-Christmas visit to London with my wife and son. As well as our annual trip to the Royal Albert Hall for the tennis masters event we also saw the superb play, East is East at the Trafalgar House Studios. On Saturday night I nipped out to capture the returning The Lindum Fayre charter at Kings's Cross.

1. Journey there-05.12.14 As is becoming more usual, we took the train from Milton Keynes to London. It is more convenient from where we live rather than going to Northampton with easier parking.

The Lindum Fayre-06.12.14 Rather than do what most sensible people would be doing on a chilly December Saturday evening I took the tube from High Street Kensington to King's Cross via a change at Edgware Road. This was in order to capture the return of The Lindum Fayre charter hauled by streamlined Pacific 60009 'Union of South Africa'.
