A long weekend to London with my lovely wife, my superb son and his smashing girlfriend marked my first visit to the capital since the start of COVID19 some eighteen months ago. 1. Journey there-08.10.21
We opted to travel from Milton Keynes to Euston rather than our rather more normal Northampton. Parking is safer and more convenient in Milton Keynes and there is a greater choice of trains with many of them faster that suits my wife who does not share my passion for rail travel!

Despite it yet to actually open I was keen to see the recently revealed Crossrail station and the associated new entrances on to platform one.
