Leaving my wife and son in 'slumberland' I took the tube across London from High Street Kensington to King's Cross and then a Northern service to Alexandra Palace. Rather than join the crowds observing the departure from King's Cross I fancied seeing 46233 running with a little more pace. On the way to Alexandra Palace, I hopped off at Hornsey as the ECS was undergoing a reversal move as I was passing. |

Again leaving my wife and son, this time safe and warm watching Saturday night TV I took the tube back to King's Cross to see The Lindum Fayre charter arriving back at King's Cross led by Stanier 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland'. |
