An overnight trip to Newcastle with my wife to see Sting and Jimmy Nail at the superb Sage theatre. We travelled from Peterborough that necessitated a drive from home and then leaving the car.

1. Journey there-24.04.15 A fast run up the ECML from Peterborough to Newcastle followed by an hour or so on the station.

2. Journey back-25.04.15 The journey back was on an HST but due to weekend engineering works, it was diverted via Leeds. There was spirited running on in order to maintain timekeeping!
