A trip to London with my wife and son. The main purpose of our visit was to visit the Russian visa section or order to submit our applications for our forthcoming visit. My wife and I also spent a very enjoyable evening at the Bridge Theatre watching Dame Maggie Smith perform the monologue, A German Life; a quite outstanding performance. Whilst my wife and son were busy spending our money, I went to the East End to an art exhibition ending up at Bethnal Green station photographing the soon to be withdrawn class 31X EMUs.

After visiting Bethnal Green station I took the train into Liverpool Street and a tube ride to Paddington. I was there for about an hour and saw just one HST, the takeover by the IETs is about complete. |
