Our final trip to London for the year. This time, with my son and wife to stay overnight. As well as being able to go to the sales in Oxford Street (not me obviously!) we went to the Pinter Theatre to see the double bill production of Party Time and Celebration. A smashing way to round off the year!

1. Journey there-27.12.18
The journey down from Northampton. A bit slow as all services were on the slow lines avoiding Hanslope Junction due to engineering works. There was a number of PW and ballast trains on the up and down fast lines between Ashton and Wolverton where I counted a total of eight class 66s.

2. Waterloo & journey back-28.12.18
A quick visit to Waterloo while my wife got ready! I was able to view the landscape photographic exhibition that was up on the mezzanine level at the station. The journey home from Euston was straightforward.
