The journey down to (or up in railway parlance) London from Northampton was straightforward enough with very little of note in Wembley Yard as we passed.

92043, stabled, Wembley Yard 
 On hire to Caledonian Sleeper GBRf's 92043 'Andy Withers 50 Year Service’ stands in Wembley Yard. According to RTT the locomotive had worked the up 1M16 Sleeper earlier that morning. I have said it before, but I think that this livery really suits these immensely complex and powerful locomotives.

350115, LN 09.06 Birmingham New Street-London Euston (1Y26, 1L), London Euston station 
 Having arrived at Euston, I walked to the rear of our train (we were sitting at the back of the rear coach anyway) and photographed it. We travelled on board a very busy, for an 'off-peak' service, 350115 and another 350/2 subclass from Northampton as the 09.06 from Birmingham New Sreet

 Our outward tickets for our trip to London. Prices have crept up again now, just over £27 return with our Two-Together discount loaded. In the New Year, they will rise once again as they have been little by little.
