350404, LN 11.56 London Euston-Birmingham New Street (1Y33, 14L) & 350259, LN 11.46 London Euston-Crewe (1U33, 23L), London Euston station A pair of London Northwestern Desiros wait at Euston station to depart for the north. To the left, 350259 will leave first leading the 11.46 service to Crewe. To the right, the 350404 will lead the 11.56 to Birmingham New Street which my wife and would travel on as far as Northampton. Class 321s, stored, Wembley Yard Four former Great Eastern Class 321s are still to be seen in warm storage taking up lots of space in Wembley Yard. I am not sure of the numbers with them being unreadable as we pass at speed on a Desiro. I have also yet to discover why they are in storage and why they have not gone for scrapping like many of their contemporaries. Keywords: Class 321 stored Wembley Yard Dust Bins Great Eastern
66565, 05.54 Trafford Park-Felixstowe North (4L44, 31E), Class 321, stored & 777032, awaiting delivery, Wembley Yard New and old stand side by side in Wembley Yard with a Freightliner service about to pass between them! To the right is a new Merseyrail, 777032, that is awaiting onward movement to the northwest. 66565 is leading Freightliner's 4L44 05.54 Trafford Park to Felixstowe service. Finally, a stored former Great Eastern Class 321 hides towards the back awaiting its fate; whatever that may be. Tickets, London Euston-Northampton Our off-peak return tickets for our two-day trip to London remain at just above £25. The announcement has just been made that fares will rise by 4.9% so potentially this journey will cost us £27 from March. Keywords: Tickets, London Euston-Northampton
