We took a relaxed journey down on a lunchtime LondoNortwestern service from Northampton to Euston with me even dropping off and missing our passage past Wembley Yard!

Our outward tickets reveal an off-peak advanced fare of £6.60 each. Not bad value but our two together card was loading a thirty-three and a third per cent discount. With the gate line open at Northampton station, no ticket check during the journey and with an open ramp at Euston no inspection took place; not great from London Northwestern is it really?
