The day dawned extremely foggy but this did not deter me from going out to capture the passing of yet another Cumbrian Mountain Express hauled by the stalwart 86259 'Les Ross/ Peter Pan'. |

After dropping my wife at Milton Keynes station for a trip to London with her friend I managed to find a spot just north of the station near to Bradwell. There were two charters due to pass within a short rime of each other one operated by Hastings Diesels Ltd and the other by Northern Belle. After the fog of earlier in the day, strong summer sunshine now made photography tricky due to the north-south orientation of the line. |
