Busy scenes such as this are commonplace at York station. To the left is Grand Central's 07.51 King's Cross to Sunderland service with power car 43467 leading. In the centre, East Coast's 91118 is seen at the rear of the 07.30 Edinburgh to King's Cross service. Finally, to the right is 91115 'Blaydon Races' that will propel the 10.01 'fast' service to King's Cross in about ten minutes' time.

Our tickets for our return journey from York to Malton. Even with our family discount £13 return for this relatively short journey was a little on the pricy side.
