Following yesterday's DRS light movements through Roade cutting, there was another one today. As it was still relatively bright I hopped on my bike and headed back to the cutting again.

37609 leads 37610 'TS (Ted) Cassady 14.5.61-6.4.08' through Roade cutting but just missing the rays of the afternoon sun that are dappling the retaining wall. The pair of vintage English Electric locomotives were working the 0Z39 Waterloo to Derby route learning train. Close examination of the photograph reveals at least three occupants in the leading cab getting their route knowledge up to date.
