With us all packed and ready to leave for home I nipped down to the railway for one last time to capture the North Norfolk Railway's first working of the day. Hp[efully, when we return again in better times there will be more trains running with no stringent restrictions and that the weather will be kinder!

8572, 10.00 Sheringham-Holt, Kelling Heath Park halt
Making a charge at Kelling bank after its start away from Weybourne station, LNER B12 8572 (61572 from May 1948) leads the 10.00 Sheringham to Holt service. I am standing on the station ramp of the diminutive Kelling Heath Park station halt that was opened in 1989 when the North Norfolk line's Holt extension was opened. It replaced an even smaller structure located a short distance back towards Weybourne that was the line's terminal point for a number of years.
