An overnight trip to London with my wife courtesy of her work. They treated all staff to a pre-Christmas event at a hotel featuring Suggs (of Madness fame) as part of a corporate charity event. Unfortunately, the night was tempered somewhat as the news started to emerge on our smartphones of the terrible terrorist attack at the Bataclan theatre.

1. Journey there-13.11.15 I did a half-day at work to meet up with my wife and her colleagues at Northampton station at lunchtime. We travelled down to Euston and then onwards to our hotel on The Strand.

2. Journey back-14.11.15 After a great night of entertainment (raising a lot of money for charity), fine food and good company we made our way home from London back to Northampton.
