The commuter station at Outwood to the south-east of Leeds was opened in 1988 following the closure of two previous stations close by. It is a basic affair with an hourly service in both directions. Whilst I was there a team of contractors was COVID proofing the station taping off alternative seats and marking pathways to ensure appropriate social distancing. There were also new posters being put up reminding customers to a) not to travel and b) if they had to travel that the wearing of face masks was compulsory from 15.06.20.
