CrossCountry's 220021 and 220010 (out of sight on the rear) left Plymouth with the 1S37 to Newcastle five minutes before I got up on this particular morning. In the time it has taken to get here to Outwood in West Yorkshire, I have had my breakfast, done some work on this website, driven to this location and had a cup of mediocre flask coffee on the platform! The Voyager has travelled three hundred and twenty-three miles whilst I did a mere one hundred and twenty in my wife's Range Rover! Harsh as it is to say being a railway fanatic, I think that I would take a journey in her car over one in a dreadful smelly Voyager!
