In what was a repeat of last week's trip to Birmingham, but this time it was just my wife and I. The purpose of our visit this week was to see the 70's band The Stranglers in concert. As with last week though, I also managed to get out first thing to see a railtour, this time to see the Cumbrian Coast Express.

2. The journey home-15.03.15 A leisurely journey home after a late-night concert! We took breakfast in the excellent Grand Central café in Stephenson Street opposite New Street station.
