A trip to Leeds with my wife and son in order to visit Leeds Beckett university as a possible contender for him next year. On Friday, whilst my wife and son were exploring the retail opportunities, I had a quick run out to York.

1. Journey there & ride out to York-08.03.19 After a disastrous journey to Leeds from Northampton, badly handled by London Northwestern, we arrived over an hour late. This was nothing when compared to the hapless passengers heading north and south from York later in the day. Due to a fatality on the line near to Chester-Le-Street all trains were halted. Some never made it to their destinations with others arriving hours late.

2. Journey home-09.03.19 The journey home was more successful than the journey up! We arrived back into Northampton with no delays or dramas. I made use of Cross Country's WiFi on the journey from Leeds to Birmingham working on the web site, it all worked fine with no drop-outs.
