Class Y7000 shunter, shunting, Cherbourg harbour
Having boarded the ferry to come home, I turned my Exa camera towards the shore at Cherbourg. On the harbour complex a class Y7000 shunter is seen going abut its business moving wagons around.

Class 67, terminating freight working, Cherbourg harbour
A view from the ferry home to the UK just prior to departure from Cherbourg. An SNCF class 67 has just arrived into the harbour complex with a car transporter train. Notice a great example of a typically quirky French car to the left, a Citrön GS parked up on the harbour side.
