I was part of our school exchange visit to Bradford-on-Avon's twin town of Nozay in the department of Loire-Atlantique in north western France. I had great difficulty explaining to my host family that I wanted to go to Nantes station to collect numbers and take photographs of trains but the relented! I am still not at all sure that they 'got it', it's somewhat of an English thing!
