The weak evening sunshine is just managing to put in an appearance as the 4M93 Felixstowe to Lawley Street Freightliner passes Victoria bridge in Northamptonshire hauled by 700001. Class 70s are not regular performers on the southern section of the WCML so it is good to capture one of these noisy machines!

I am not too sure what this working was and why it was on the up slow line diverted via Northampton. 390156 passes Victoria bridge in catching some pleasant evening summer light. It was actually a very hot evening but the cloudy sky disguises this in the image.
