86259 'Les Ross/Peter Pan' passes light engine through Roade. I have not quite managed to frame the 0Z89 12.07 Euston to Rugby CS incorrectly thinking that it would fit between the bridge I'm standing on and the electrification mast! The previous day the veteran AL6 worked The Cumbrian Coast Express charter that I managed a pretty poor photograph of as it passed Milton crossing, see....https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/30060904906/x86259-cumbrian-coast-express-06

66432, 10.50 Tilbury Docks-DIRFT (4M07, RT), site of Roade station
The 4M07 10.50 Tilbury Docks to Daventry (DIRFT) passes Roade led by 66432. I have precious few photographs of this particular DRS Class 66 with it evading my camera! Notice the growth of undergrowth to the left of the train. This was completely cleared two years ago illustrating a situation that Network Rail faces everywhere!
