66304, 14.40 DIRFT-Dollands Moor (6O55, 4L), site of Roade station
Beacon Rail does not appear to be taking much care of their locomotives (externally at least) judging by the appearance of 66304 as seen here! Operated by GBRf the filthy locomotive is seen leading the 6O55 daily 14.40 (or thereabouts) 14.40 Daventry (DIRFT) to Dollands Moor empty water train through Roade just managing to capture a little afternoon winter sunshine.

66715, 12.18 London Gateway-Hams Hall (4M47, 13L), Roade cutting
For the second time in less than a week 66715 'Valour. In Memory of all Railway Employees Who Gave Their Lives For Their Country' is captured locally on a down 'liner working. On this day it is seen leading the 4M47 12.18 London Gateway to Hams Hall service passing through Roade cutting. Apologies for the poor framing.

66622 & 66413, 13.14 Wembley Reception-Tunstead Sidings (6H50, 102L), site of Roade station
I was aware that the regular 13.14 Wembley Yard to Tunstead Siding stone empties was running very late but was unaware as to the cause. When I pressed the camera shutter framing 66622 leading the train I did not spot another locomotive in the consist as seen in this image. Not only was 66413 'Lest We Forget' being towed along but also its train!

66413, 13.14 Wembley Reception-Tunstead Sidings (6H50, 102L), site of Roade station
A messy grab shot shows 66413 'Lest We Forget' in the middle of the 6H50 13.14 Wembley Reception to Tunstead Sidings empty stone train passing through Roade. I am not at all sure as to the circumstances of this event but it appears that two trains were joined making one jumbo one. 66622 was leading the train without any assistance as 66413 was switched off. If anybody can enlighten me as to why this course of events took place it would be appreciated.
