With the sun shining and me needing some paces to get my daily ten thousand in I took a walk across the fields to my favoured local spot at Victoria bridge.

66515, 11.13 Felixstowe North-Trafford Park (4M87, 14E), Victoria bridge
I have photographed 66515 at this location from this angle before on a number of occasions, using the search function of this site will reveal them. The Freightliner Class 66 is leading the 11.13 Felixstowe to Trafford Park 4M87 working past Victoria bridge just south of Roade.

66059, 11.15 Ditton Foundry-Dollands Moor (6O26), Victoria bridge
Still resplendent in its full EWS livery complete with full branding despite the company ceasing to be since November 2007 66059 heads south past Victoria bridge leading the 6O26 Ditton Foundry to Dollands Moor service. When DB Cargo UK bought out EWS in 2007 they announced that there would be no rebranding however, by 2009 this policy had changed and revealed 59209 in their new DB Schenker livery at York's National Railway Museum in the January of that year. They did not seem in a rush to work their way through the many locomotives on their books with another minor rebranding having taken place since from DB Schenker to DB Cargo in the meantime!

66783, 13.55 Birch Coppice-London Gateway (4L68, RT), Victoria bridge
Biffa branded 66783 'The Flying Dustman' picks up speed after the steady climb up from Northampton seen from Victoria bridge just south of Roade. It is leading the 4L68 13.55 Birch Coppice to LondonGateway Intermodal service.

221115 & 221104, VT 16.33 Birmingham International-London Euston (1B52, 6L), Victoria bidge
Over a year ago the much-disliked Class 221 Voyagers should have been withdrawn from service on the WCML relieving customers of the dreadful travelling experience that they offer. With the Class 805s (and the all-electric Class 807) that are due to replace them chronically delayed, as is now the norm with new trains, they will see out the end of the year. 221115 leads 221104 past Victoria bridge near Roade working the 16.33 Birmingham International (as opposed to New Street on this day) to Euston service.

Bowled! Luckily, 66510 is a member of the class that I have photographed in the past so I was not too put out that the 16.26 Euston to Birmingham New Street service got in the way! The 66 was leading the 4L90 12.20 Trafford Park to Felixstowe Freightliner with bot trains seen at Victoria bridge just south of Roade.
