I am not too sure why I visited Bath on this occasion but I did take a number of photographs for my college portfolio. I managed a few railway images too.

50048, unidentified up working, Bath cricket ground
Whilst the number is a little out of focus with a bit of work in Photoshop I believe that this Class 50 leaving Bath is 50048 'Dauntless' at least the number plate looks to be about the right size and there is no crest. The unidentified up service is passing Bath's cricket ground crossing Dolmeads viaduct. As I was standing on Bath's North Parade I must have been using a zoom lens but I am unsure as to which one I was using?

253018, unidentified down working, Bath Spa station
An unidentified down HST working from Paddington arrives at Bath Spa worked by set 253018. The leading power car would have been one of either W43036 or W43037. Notice the Viva HC saloon parked in the station car park.

Grandparents on platform 2, 41038 TF, Bath Spa station
What I assume to be the grandparents push their grandaughter along platform two of Bath Spa station whilst a down HST waits at platform one. The coach behind them is 41038 (Trailer Fist) that was marshalled to the rear of down trains thus being at the city end on arrival backPaddington. I cannot help but feel that grandma bears an uncanny resemblance to PM Thatcher with even grandad doing a reasonable impression of Denis!
