On a bitter and grey autumn morning, I nipped out from home to see the passage of 'The Yellow Submarine' charter that was scheduled to run via the 'fast' Weedon route rather than via Northampton. I was surprised at the number of enthusiasts out to see it pass given that it was just a couple of Class 67s!

67006 & 67005, outward leg of The Yellow Submarine, 07.40 London Euston-Liverpool LS (1Z68, RT), Milton Crossing
Running bang on time 67006 'Queen's Messenger' leads the outward leg of The Yellow Submarine charter past Milton crossing between Blisworth and Roade with 67005 'Royal Sovereign' bringing up the rear. There were a surprisingly large number of photographers at this location on the footbridge just to my left. I do feel that the set of blue and grey Mk. II (with a Mk. 1 buffet) looks a little out of place being hauled by the royal caret livery liveried Class 67s!
