66594 & 66553, 10.15 Trafford Park-Felixstowe North (4L90, 20E), Victoria bridge
66594 'NYK Spirit of Kyoto' will have its work cut out hauling the 10.15 Trafford Park to Felixstowe as not only is the train fairly lengthy and well-laden but 66553 is dead in tow. The train left Manchester over thirty minutes late but by the time it passed me here at Victoria bridge just south of Roade it was on time but this was courtesy of missing out a layover at Crewe Basford Hall eventually arriving at Felixstowe twenty minutes early.

325003, 325009 & 325012, 16.21 Willesden PRDC-Shieldmuir (1S96, 4E), Victoria bridge
The daily Royal Mail 1S96 passes Victoria bridge between Roade and Hanslope Junction. Today, the train that leaves the Park Royal mail depot at 16.21 heading for Scotland was composed of 325003, 325009 and 325012. These units have a very distinctive sound being based on the noisy Class 319 units with their screaming traction motors.

37608 & 57310, 15.49 Willesden TMD-Leicester LIP (0M59, 23E), Victoria bridge
Having been involved in the transfer of 710130 from Old Dalby to Willesden earlier in the day (via the MML, Marston Vale and WCML) 37608 'Andromeda' and 57310 'Pride of Cumbria' head back to Leicester. The duo is seen about to pass under Victoria bridge just a short distance south of Roade as the 0M59 15.49 Willesden to Leicester LIP.
