66542, 07.50 Felixstowe North-Lawley Street (4M94, 43E), Roade cutting
Another long and well loaded Freightliner indicating that, after a bit of a lull during the height of the pandemic, freight is getting through again. 66542 leads the 4M94 07.50 Felixstowe North to Lawley Street (Birmingham) through Roade cutting. After a heavy shower, the sun has just broken through finding a patch of clear sky.

66107, 07.05 Dollands Moor-DIRFT (6M45, 1L), site of Roade station
A DB Cargo locomotive always brings a bit of colour to a photograph. 66107 leads the seven days a week 6M45 07.05 Dollands Moor to Daventry bottled water train through Roade. I have a number of photographs of this member of the class but this is my only one in its smart DB livery with all the others taken when it wore its EWS paintwork.
