Whilst our son was away on a school trip my wife and I took the opportunity for a short trip ourselves. We had a mini-break in Liverpool travelling by train and staying at our preferred hotel The Nadler.

1. Journey there and Liverpool Lime Street station-08.07.15 After travelling up to Liverpool with London Midland I spent an hour or so at Lime Street whilst my wife reacquainted herself with the layout of the shops in the city!

2. Journey back-10.07.15 Before our journey home and whilst my wife was shopping, I went up the Radio City Tower that affords superb views across the grand city of Liverpool.
