In mid-winter, the depths of Roade cutting is a dark and tricky place to take photographs. Even though the sky is bright and that the sun is shining, Freightliner branded 90016 is poorly lit leading the 12.32 Basford Hall to Ipswich. Normally, this train would continue on the short distance from Ipswich to Felixstowe but on Saturdays, it only is timetabled as far as the Suffolk town.

66593, 10.14 Felixstowe FLT-Lawley Street FLT (4M20), Roade cutting
66593 '3MG Mersey Multimodal Gateway' grinds through Roade cutting leading the 10.14 Felixstowe to Lawley Street Freightliner. By this time in the afternoon, I really was asking rather too much of the camera given the lack of lighting deep in Roade cutting!
