M51192 & M56352, 09.45 Sheringham-Holt, Kelling Bank The first service of the day on the North Norfolk Railway climbs up Kelling bank formed by a class 101 DMU set made up of M51192 and M56352. After a clear and chilly night, the morning has dawned with some seasonal autumnal fog that added a certain atmosphere to the scene but that soon burned off as the sun got to work. 92203, 10.30 Sheringham-Holt, Kelling bank In thick fog following a chilly and clear night, 92203 'Black Prince' storms up Kelling bank laying a thick layer of exhaust low in the sky that is forced down by the dense moisture laden air. It is leading the 10.30 Sheringham to Holt, the first steam hauled train of the day on the North Norfolk Railway. Keywords: 92203 10.30 Sheringham-Holt Kelling bank
92203, 10.30 Sheringham-Holt, Kelling bank 92203 'Black Prince' climbs Kelling bank with the 0.20 Sheringham to Holt service. The 9F makes easy work of a short passenger service up a modest bank such as the one at Kelling compared to the heavy iron ore trains it worked when in use on British Railways. The 9F represents the design zenith of the steam locomotive but all this came too late as, by the time of its introduction in 1959, steam was already on the way out. M56352 & M51192, 12.15 Holt-Sheringham, Holt station My wife and son rest at Holt station having ridden their bikes from Kelling Heath. As they do this, the 12.15 Holt to Sheringham service leaves the station formed by M56352 and M51192. Keywords: M56352 M51192 12.15 Holt-Sheringham Holt station
M51192 & M56352, 12.15 Holt-Sheringham, Holt station M51192 and M56352 leave Holt station past the signal box with the 12.15 to Sheringham. Whilst I like the work and attention to detail that the North Norfolk Railway work towards, I think that the breeze block base to the signal box looks a little disappointing. M56352 & M51192, ECS to yard, Weybourne station Having worked the final diesel service of the day, M56352 and M51192 worked back as ECS from Sheringham and then crossed over into platform one at Weybourne.
