After my son rushed hoe from school we all drove to Milton Keynes where I parked the car. We all caught the Southern service to Kensington Olympia.

377708, SN 17.13 Milton Keynes Central-East Croydon (2O59), Milton Keynes Central station 377708 waits at Milton Keynes to work the 17.13 to East Croydon. My wife son and I took this train to Kensington Olympia. I like these Electrostars, I find their interiors airy and comfortable. This particular sub-set (377/8), of which there are eight units, are for dual voltage operation solely on this route. They transfer from AC to DC operation (and vice versa) during a brief pause in the journey just south of North Pole Junction. 90039 & 90019, 17.21 Wembley-Arpley (6Z77), Wembley yard 90039 and 90019 'Multimodal' sit in Wembley Yard leading the 17.21 Wembley to Arpley. Tickets, Milton Keynes Central-Kensington Olympia (NB, my son s got eaten by the ticket machine!) Two of the three tickets that were used for the return journey from Milton Keynes to Kensington Olympia. Not a bad price for a a return trip. Note that it states that the route is 'not via London'. I know what they mean but if Kensington is not London then I don't know where is!
