Our annual New Year's Day trip to the Northampton and Lamport Railway found us there on a grey and damp day enjoying some 47 haulage!

47205, 11.00 ex. Pitsford & Brampton, Pitsford & Brampton station 47205 arrives at Pitsford and Brampton station with the 11.00 return working. 47205 also carries one the previous numbers it carried for a year before reverting back to its original TOP`S number. 2104, stabled, Pitsford yard Undergoing repairs and boiler work the NLR's Peckett 0-4-0 waits in the sidings at Pitsford station with its 'Not to be Moved' sign. This particular Peckett is a cut down version built at their Bristol factory in 1948 fro use in Croydon per station. It moved to the NBLR in the very earliest years of its operation in 1989 and has been there ever since. Keywords: 2104 Pitsford yard

Wife & son, 47205, 13.00 ex. Pitsford & Brampton, Pitsford & Brampton station As 47205 leaves Pitsford and Brampton station on the NLR my lovely wife and son walk along the path beside the railway. The team at the NLR have done a nice job restoring 4205, here seen carrying its other number 47395. It is their only regularly performing diesel. Keywords: 47205 13.00 Pitsford & Brampton station
