350233, LN 10.25 Northampton-London Euston (1N10, 4L), Northampton station Our train from Northampton to London waits to leave the station as the 10.25 1N10 service worked by 350233. This picture clearly illustrates the problems of photographing in mid-winter when the sun is out. Much as the light is bright and crisp, it also wreaks havoc with regards to deep shadows and extreme contrast. 92018, 10.45 London Euston-Wembley ECS (5M16), London Euston station Things appeared to be running a little late as the ECS sleeper stock was still waiting at Euston when we arrived at 11.30. 92018 is at the head of the 10.45 Euston to Wembley 5M16 ECS working, let's hope that it late departure and arrival gave enough time for staff to prepare and service the stock for the coming night's working. Tickets, Northampton-London Euston Had the prices gone up all of a sudden as it was between Christmas and New Year? The return fare was about £5 each more expensive than from a couple of weeks earlier. Is there a conspiracy here or has my wife not done her job properly to get the cheapest fares available?
