A trip on the North Norfolk Railway's premier dining train the North Norfolkman with my wife an son.....all very civilised!

D3940 (08772), stabled, Sheringham station After shunting stock for The North Norfolkman dining train, D3940 (ex. 08772) rests at Sheringham station. Built at Derby in 1960 the shunter moved around the north east of England being allocated to, almost others, York, Gateshead and Thornaby. 92203, 12.10 Sheringham-Holt-Sheringham (X2), The North Norfolkman Dining Train, running round, Sheringham staton In pouring rain, 92203 'Black Prince' runs round the stock at Sheringham that will form The North Norfolkman dining train that runs as the 12.10 Sheringham to Holt. My wife, son and I experienced the dining train by doing two return runs to Holt and enjoying a fine four-course meal. Unfortunately, the views of the Norfolk countryside were hampered by the weather and steamed up windows! It was a foul afternoon with the steam escaping from the 9F condensing in the damp autumnal air. 92203 was about to work the 12.10 Sheringham to Holt service that included The North Norfolkman dining train.
