On arrival at Kelling Heath and after unpacking I nipped down to Weybourne station.

D182 (46045), 14.40 Sheringham-Holt, Weybourne station
D182 is seen leaving Weybourne station with the 14.40 from Sheringham to Holt. It is about to pass the Great Northern somersault starter signal. The Peak was on-hire to the North Norfolk Railway for the summer season and this was its last day of operation.

92203, 15.30 Sheringham-Holt, Weybourne staton
92203 'Black Prince' drifts into Weybourne station on the North Norfolk Railway with the 15.30 Sheringham to Holt. Formally owned by the late David Shepherd it is now a regular and reliable performer on the NNR with ownership being transferred to them.

D182 (46045), 15.35 Holt-Sheringham, Weybourne station
D182 leaves Weybourne with the 15.35 Holt to Sheringham. It is in British Railways' 'economy' blue livery with a small yellow warning panel that was applied to eleven members of the class. It was nice to see the Peak in action as this was the last day of use on the line after its summer season sojourn.

D6372 (37032), undergoing overhaul, Weybourne Depot
Looking a bit sorry for itself, D6372 (37032) pokes its nose around the corner of Weybourne's depot. The 37 is undergoing an extensive and protracted overhaul. Built at Newton-Le-Willows in 1962, it saw many years of successful service it was withdrawn as 37353 in March 1994.
