The outward and return Greendale Rocket was seen locally. Organised by The Branch Line Society, it started off at Burton-on-Trent taking in a number of rare bits of track in the Midlands and London area. On its outward journey, I saw it pass through Roade Cutting and on the return at Victoria Bridge.

The Branch Line Society tour started at Burton-on-Trent and took in some rare track in the Birmingham area. It then headed to London to do the same and is seen here in Roade Cutting with 37884 at the rear. The Branch Line Society railtour had taken in some rare track in the London Area and was heading back to Burton-on-Trent. Just out of sight on the rear is 37611 'Pegasus'. The tour is passing Victoria Bridge just south of Roade with 37 884 at the front. I love the early autumn lighting in this picture from the recently ploughed field to the lineside vegetation just on the turn.
