After a busy day sightseeing and doing galleries I took a walk from our hotel to Florence Campo di Marte station. This is not a tourist destination like Florence SMN being one used by commuters and locals coming in the the surrounding region. On a Sunday evening it had few trains stopping with most passing through at a modest speed.

Frontage, Florence CM station Not looking particularly like a station is the frontage of Florence Campo di Marte (CM). It one of a number of stations in Florence that is the second busiest after Santa Maria Novella (SMN). However, unlike SMN it serves mainly commuters and the Italian general public rather than the tourists that use SNM that is much more central to the city.
