Class 390, Tring, from flight VY0623
The WCML is seen just north of Tring. In this view it is passing through the two and a half mile Tring Cutting. Close examination reveals a class 390 heading northwards. In the middle left the Grand Union canal can be seen winding its way through the countryside at Bulbourne

Aylesbury & Stoke Mandeville station, from flight VY0623
With the cloud juts beginning to come into view Aylesbury is seen from flight VY0623. In the foreground the railway stretches southwards with Stoke Mandeville station just visible. The green line under the large cloud to the far left is the single track route that goes to Pinces Risborough.

Chiltern Line, Ilmer, from flight VY0623
The last picture before we disappeared above the cloud shows the Chiltern Line between Princes Risborough and Haddenham that can be seen in the top right. The village of Ilmer is the settlement in the centre next to the line.
