A particularly dull June day in South Northamptonshire finds 350129 and 350376 pass between Ashton and Roade with the 11.24 Euston to Birmingham and Crewe. This is a through train that splits at Birmingham New Street.

As the rain clouds gather, the first of two ECS moves pass between Ashton and Roade on the southern WCML in Northamptonshire. 68018 'Vigilant' leads the 10.25 old Oak Common to Kidderminster SVR running as 0Z72. The stock was being delivered in connection with railtour duties.

68017 'Hornet' brings up the rear of the 10.25 Old Oak Common to Kidderminster SVR ECS stock working. It is seen passing between Road and Ashton in Northamptonshire. With it being such a dull day the bright DRS liveried class 68 certainly stands out!

67010 & 67030, 08.30 London Paddington-Burton Ot Wetmore ECS (5Z51), Hyde Road Bridge
An hour after one ECS stock move another passes! This time, 67010 and 67 030 haul the 08.30 Paddington to Burton Ot Wetmore 5Z51. The train is about to enter Roade Cutting taken from a bridge above the line in the village of Roade. The stock is composed of a variety of Mk.II coaches in various liveries.

Out of site at the front of a retro. set of stock are 67010 and 67030. The train was the 08.30 Paddington to Burton-Ot-Wetmore ECS working. It was nice to see a rake of blue and grey Mk.IIs making their way down the fast line of the WCML at Roade, where this picture was taken.
