390128, VT 10.38 Liverpool Lime Street-London Euston (1A14, RT), Hyde Road Bridge 390128 'City of Preston' passes through Roade Cutting and is about to pass under Hyde Road Bridge in my home village of Roade with the 10.38 Liverpool Lime Street to Euston. 350124 & 350248, LM 11.14 Birmingham New Street-London Euston (2Y16, 5L), Hyde Road Bridge 350124 and 350248 ,ake their way through the the magnificent Roade Cutting forming the 11.14 Birmingham New Street to London Euston. 350238 & 350237, LM 11.24 London Euston-Birmingham New Street (2Y11, 8L) & 390127, VT 11.50 Birmingham New Street-London Euston (1B15, 2E), Hyde Road Bridge London Midland 350238 and 350237 pass through Roade and are about to enter the fabled cutting with the 11.24 Euston to New Street. The Desiro is being overhauled by Virgin 390127 'Virgin Buccaneer' also heading for New Street but having left Euston at 11.50, it will also get there a lot sooner than the class 350. 86259, 11.37 London Euston-Rugby Carriage Sidings (0Z88), Hyde Road Bridge This is one of the few occasions when the sun did what it was supposed to do, namely come out at the required moment! Having been a cloudy morning, 86259 'Les Ross/Peter Pan' passes under Hyde Road Bridge in Roade working the 11.37 Euston to Rugby Carriage Sidings (0Z88) light engine move. This is a regular movement for the veteran class 86 after yet another successful railtour that it hauled the previous day.
