A walk across the field from home to see The Shoulder of Lune railtour. Even though the weather was pretty grey, I didn't mind too much when the effort to get some pictures was as minimal as this!

390043, VT 06.10 Manchester Piccadilly-London Euston (1A05, 2E), Ashton Road bridge VT's 390043 heads south past Ashton Road bridge near Roade working the 06.10 Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston. Since the palisade fencing was installed at this location photography has been compromised somewhat. A ladder helps but there is a cut-off telegraph pole that can be stood on for taking down trains. 390013, VT 07.20 London Euston-Manchester Piccadilly (1H09, 1E), Ashton Road bridge 390013 passes Aston Road bridge between Roade and Hanslope Junction working the 07.20 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.
