Class 47, unidentified down working, Bristol Temple Meads station
With the abandonment of four character headcodes from the 1st January, it was policy for trains to display 0000 in their headcode box. However, this class 47 has a bit of a mess on display and must be crying out to have its domino display panel installed! The 47 waits at the head of an unidentified working about to leave for the south west at Bristol Temple Meads station.

45075, unidentified down working, Bristol Temple Meads station
45075 draws away from Bristol Temple Meads station with an unidentified working for the west of England. Just behind the train in the direction of view was the Bristol Bath Road depot. At this time it was a home for many classes. You could spend a few hours at this spot watching the many comings and goings as engines came off and went on shed as Bristol was still traditionally used as a location for an engine change, a situation that harked back to steam days.
