A miserable and cold morning found me trudging across the field between where I live and the WCML to see The Cathedrals Express headed, as usual, by 86259.

A grey and cold morning was not exactly inspiring me to get out with my camera, but when I only live a five minute walk from this location it is not much of challenge! 86259 'Les Ross/Peter Pan' heads the outward leg of The Cathedrals Express from London Euston to Carnforth for steam haulage to Carlisle; in the case of this railtour, Jubilee 46599 did the honours.
