350377, LN 12.14 Birmingham New Street-London Euston (2Y22, 1L), Roade Hill
A broadside shot of 350377 working the 12.14 Birmingham New Street to London Euston. The train is seen passing Roade Hill between Roade and Ashton on the WCML I was hoping that the picture would have the added interest of some alpacas in the foreground. They actually do live in this field but were all up at the top out of view near to their stalls.

390104, 12.40 London Euston-Edinburgh (9S70, 1L), Roade Hill
With the M1 wind farm in the background 390104 'Alstom Pendolino' passes Roade Hill between Milton Keynes and Northampton with the 12.40 London Euston to Edinburgh. Pan shots can be effective in the right circumstances and give a different perspective to a 'normal' image of a working train. This particular image was taken using 1/125th sec.

86259, 13.17 Acton Lane Reception Sidings-Rugby CS LE (0Z88), Roade Hill
Using a 1/125th sec. shutter speed and the pan-shot technique the movement of 86259 'Peter Pan' has been captured as it passes Roade Hill just north of Hanslope Junction. The vintage class 86 was returning to its stabling point in the old Rugby Carriage Sidings following hauling the The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express charter the previous day. It was running as 0Z88, the 13.17 Acton Reception Sidings to Rugby CS.
