47205, 13.00 Pitsford & Brampton return, Pitsford & Brampton-Station
The Northampton and Lamppost railway's resident class 47 waits to leave Pitsford and Bramptonstation with the 13.00 out and back working. We travelled on this and enjoyed our sherry and mince pies!
Signal & bridge 13
In the New Year's Day sunshine, Pitsford's down starter is pulled off ready for the next round trip working. Also in this view is Bridge 13. This was major headache to the preserved line some years ago as it required a complete and very expensive re-build.

47205, 14.00 Pitsford & Brampton return, Merry Tom Lane
Taken into the afternoon sunshine on New Year's day 47205 is seen in charge of the 14.00 out and back working on the PItsford and Lamport railway. 47205 is kept very smart at the NLR , and at the the time of writing, is their prime mover! The train is seen as it waits to return to Lamport close to Merry Tom Lane where had parked our car.

Tickets, mince pie & juice
Taken on-board the train are the tickets for the New Year's Day run on the Northampton and Lamport Railway. As I don't drink I opted for the orange juice rather than the sherry, the mince pie was smashing!
