A busy Sunday evening scene at Marylebone station. To the left the 19.15 'fast' service to Birmingham Moor Street worked by 168111 boards and will leave in the next. few minutes. Meanwhile, to the right 165038 prepares to work the slightly later 19.18 'slow' to Banbury. My wife, son and I travelled on this train all the way to Banbury despite only needing to get to Kings Sutton. On arrival at Banbury we would wait a few minutes to get the last up stopper of the day back south to King's Sutton. If our train was late and we were to miss this train I am not too sure what Chiltern would do about it?
